A workshop for classic puzzles

brainstretch.ing is a small, hand-picked collection of classic logic puzzles, each one restored and refined. 29 games, one visual language.

Why restore what already exists

Many puzzle sites share one engine and dress it up as dozens of games. The board that needs a diagonal gets a square, and the difficulty label stops meaning anything. We went the slower way: every game here has its own rules, its own way of making boards and its own check for a finished one, so a Medium is medium for reasons you can name.

One table, two cloths

Two tables are offered. Felt is the dark one, and the collection was designed on it. Linen is the cream one, for daylight and for people who find dark screens tiring. Large type, high contrast and reduced motion are settings you switch on, not separate themes.

A board should look like something you could pick up, turn over, and put back down on the table.

What we do not do

No daily lock-in: play when you want to, for as long as you want to. You can try games without an account; signing in keeps your progress, profiles and preferences on every device you use.

Where it is going

What we are working on next is on the roadmap, and what has already changed is in the changelog.
